Who We are
Private Service Coaching (PSC) was established to fill a gap in the education and resources available for professionals in the private service industry.
Our mission is to provide a comprehensive resource that bridges the gap between those who aspire to work in high net worth and high profile jobs and those who are well equipped to excel in these roles. We aim to increase the number of high-quality professionals in the industry, while also helping individuals determine if this career path is right for them.
Founders Annie Duguid and Stefanie Hudgins recognized the need for better support and guidance for aspiring newborn care specialists, doulas, private educators and nannies as they transition to working with high net worth (HNW) and high profile (HP) clients. Stefanie and Annie are both known for their ability to get (and keep) some of the better UHNW/ HP clients.
They have worked in some of the most high profile and high net worth homes in the world. Few others in the industry have as much experience as they do. The aim of PSC is not to provide motivational coaching, business coaching, or how to care for babies. We are here to teach you how to adapt and respond to the unique demands of UHNW/ HP jobs.
How Stef & Annie met and started working together
Annie and Stefanie met years ago at an NCS training and immediately connected. Their shared passion for children and families, diverse experience and extensive knowledge led them to talking regularly about challenges and questions that came up in the course of their work. Both share a similar long-term and whole- family focus which requires a level of flexibility that is rarely seen in the industry.
Additionally, both spent many hours individually mentoring newborn care specialists and nannies interested in working for HNW/HP families and found themselves sharing the same information over and over again. They wanted to create a mentoring program to pass on some of their experience and knowledge to others as well as create a community to support colleagues who work in this challenging environment.
-
They regularly hear of the challenges that clients, agencies, and other members of staff have with Nannies and Newborn Care Specialists and the struggles they have with finding good candidates with the unique skill set that makes someone successful in staffed households.
Often interested candidates would be perfect for a job, except in a few minor areas that Stef and Annie felt could easily be improved with coaching and support.

MEET Annie
Luxury Market Service Expert, Parent Educator, Newborn Care Specialist & Nanny
For over 20 years, Annie Duguid’s career as a Newborn Care Specialist, consultant, and parent educator reflects her mission to help others turn the postpartum period into a fun and exciting life event instead of a stressful one. With global experience that ranges from one of the poorest countries in the world to serving the most elite ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) families, Annie understands how critical a stable environment is for the life-long success of infants and children. During Annie’s 10 years in Uganda, Annie established three orphanages with advanced medical facilities. Over 1,000 abandoned infants (aged newborn to 18 months) were rescued and nurtured under Annie’s leadership.
-
Her expertise with medically fragile newborns and multiples while focusing on healthy attachments and early childhood brain development caught the attention of the ultra-wealthy, where she added a distinguished level of childcare education for the parents and the entire staff. To date, Annie has tenderly cared for over 60 infants for some of the most influential families in the world.
As one of the co-founders of Private Service Coaching, Annie provides expert guidance on how to land a job with some of the most wealthy families in the world, including the challenges of reaching high-profile persons and celebrities. Once in a position, Annie’s guidance continues to help coaching clients solve challenges around interpersonal relationships with principals and staff, perfecting the service standards, leading childcare teams, embracing work/life balance, and of course, keeping the needs of the children at the forefront of everyone’s minds.
